Bio

Daniela Demiri is a trusted and experienced certified legal translator of over 14 years. She obtained a thorough knowledge of the legal system over her 5 years of work in a leading law firm in Albania, providing legal translation services from English into Albanian and vice-versa of many Laws, Bylaws, Instructions, Decisions, Decrees, Contracts and Agreements (e.g. Agency, Franchising, Sale-Purchase, Concession, Service, Labor, Escrow, Usufruct, Lease, Mortgage, Security Charge, Loan etc.); Litigation (Law Suits, Appeals, Petitions, Court Decisions, Court Orders, International Arbitration, Power of Attorneys etc.), Tax Appeals; Companies establishment documentation (Articles of Association, Certificates of Incorporation, Commercial Register Extracts); Legal Reports, Balance Sheets, Financial Statements, Annual Reports, Chartered Accountant Expert Reports etc.; Delivering fast, accurate and high-quality translations to domestic and international clients, such as the Government of Albania (inter alia in the framework of numerous PPPs/Concessions), EBRD, Philip Morris, Bechtel, Vodafone, etc.

Before the establishment of Legal Translate Albania, Daniela was a Senior Executive in a reputable Translation and Localization Company, where she mastered strong leadership skills with proven results, experience in management, a positive and confident professional attitude and a solution-focused approach to the workplace. She was in charge of ensuring the quality of translation of projects of the company’s key clients such as Ashta Energy (EVN & Verbund GmBH subsidiary company), Statkraft (Devoll Hydropower), Shell Upstream Albania, OTP Bank, various Law Firms and many more. During the last four years Daniela was the Team Leader in charge of the company’s largest project concerning EU’s acuis communaitare translation from English to Albanian and vice-versa, consisting of approximately 17 000 pages/annually.

Her special skills, knowledge and experience are combined with the use of innovative technology in the translation industry, i.e. CAT tools (CAT stands for “computer-aided translation”).
